Ron Howard: Bitter Harvest 1981

By Remy Benoit

Our little Richie Cunningham grew up to be a fine actor and producer. Ron Howard stars in this movie about dairy farmers whose cows were poisoned by their feed. The cows produced infected milk, birthed dead calves, and those who couldn't eat.
Milk production diminished, cows fell ill, people around them in the millions carry this poison in their bodies, despite the fact that due to one farmers unrelenting quest 30,000 head were slaughtered. Ron's movie is as timely today as it was when it was made Bitter Harvest. as corporations fight labeling of GMO's.
Think before you eat; if you think government agencies keep you safe regarding your food and what is in it, think again and watch the movie. If you still doubt, ask about government and Agent Orange.
