Bill Moyers: What is it like to go to war?

By Remy Benoit

At RSN What is it like to go to war?

If war is so "natural" to us, why do those we send to it live with it in horror for the rest of their lives? We are living, and dying for, a myth...feeding the insatiable gods of war with our young. And feeding the pockets of politicos, corporations, munitions makers. War is like molasses, used only when needed, in small controlled amounts, or we gag on the outcome. Our veterans are gagging, and we are playing video games based on "kills."

By what right does a candidate tell one nation it is okay to attack another? If one lacks courtesy,
decorum, even rationality as a candidate, what can we expect from him as an incumbent?

I was suggested this website by my cousin. I'm not sure whether this post is written by him as nobody else know such detailed about my problem. You are amazing! Thanks!
