Bernie Sanders: 2012 Where do we go from here?

By Remy Benoit

At RSN 2012 Where do we go from here?.

What can you do to help others? Ask your market manager to put up a food donation box to be distributed through a local group to those who can't afford food. Take donations to a local thrift shop of clothing, books, household items you no longer use. Make sure a neighbor has food and heat; adopt a stray animal. Help a neighbor fix a car, shovel a driveway of snow; develop a sense of local and national community.

How many of our towns are literally ghost towns due to businesses being undercut price wise by
huge corporations? How can those empty shops be
opened to seed exchanges, book stores, health and dental clinics, music shops, art and antique shops, further education? Chaperone a dance for teenagers; create a cross-generational event for letting us elder folk share experiences and give guidance and love to the young ones.

What needs doing in your neighborhood? Is there a little park for kids? Is there vacant ground for a victory garden to help cancel out hunger?

The world we live in is the world we make.
