"If not now, when? If not by me, by whom?" (Hillel) We are at a turning point in history. Where we go from here for all the coming generations is up to us. Democracy or Plutocracy? The choice is ours, and we must now stand with the Founding Mothers and Fathers. This is not a time for Sunshine Patriots; this is a time for all Americans to stand and say: WE THE PEOPLE WILL PROTECT OUR FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS. There is no life, liberty, or pursuit of happiness without homes, without jobs, without hope.
If the government needs money, let them tax the rich as they tax the rest of us. Let those in Congress give up their pensions and health insurance or provide for national health care. Let them use diplomacy instead of endless war leaving veterans who must beg the VA for care.
Once again we have reached the point of When in the course of human events although this time the problem is here, not abroad. We must stand with the principal of one person, one vote, not corporate dollars for votes.
Choose well. Your children are depending on you.
