It is not acceptable to abuse the earth

What does it take for us to see that for which we are responsible? Perhaps too many of us never walk on grass anymore; rejoice in a beautiful dawn or sunset. Perhaps too many of us never touch nature, just live in a world of windowless jobs with horrid florescent lighting.

The earth is crying, fuming, and we are not listening. From Damian Carrington, The Guardian, at Reader Supported News Mass tree deaths prompt fears of Amazon 'climate tipping point.'
