How much more harm can be done to our fisherman on the Gulf?

By Remy Benoit

Among all the things said, and not said, in the midst of this ecological catastrophe, how unnerving and upsetting is it when the company that caused it doesn't keep to original agreements?

And just how do we compensate the dead animals, the corrupted bayous, coastlines? Wake up, America and demand justice here! Or are you waiting for this oil to wash onto beaches along the East Coast before it gets through what a horror this is? Call the White House, demand action, more action. These are our people, this is our Gulf, our coastline not BP's!

From Dahr Jamail at Truthout BP's Scheme to Swindle the "Small People."
