Why is it so hard for us to understand that we must live with the land, with nature, instead of in opposition to it? We are losing our wetlands, as are so many others. They are the barriers against the force of the hurricanes. In allowing them to be lost, we are agreeing to lose our homes, our way of life. Wake up and treat the earth with respect.
