From Tom Philpott at Military.com Costly Agent Orange-Heart Disease Link Looms.
When we speak of cost, we tend to speak in dollars, not in the cost of the terrible illnesses of our sons, daughters, husbands and wives. We do not think of their pain, of the pain for their families. This ruling is about 40 years in the making. How many of our Viet Nam Veterans could not get the care they needed from Agent Orange related problems? We are very fast to send them, not so fast, not so dedicated to taking care of them. Shame on us.
How many newly made Veterans, active duty soldiers, are not getting the PTSD care they need?
