Can you spare a dollar or so?

By Remy Benoit

I know these are hard times for many of us, but there are those who are suffering absolute devastation and perhaps together we can help to ease their suffering.

I have been in contact with a friend in the Philippines, and while he assures me that he and his family have suffered "only" mud and water in their home, there are many areas there where the water is still neck deep and the people need food, medicine, clothes, and shelter.

Please, whatever you can spare direct here: Catholic Relief. and the agency will direct your dollars where you want them to go.

And do please keep all who are suffering anywhere in your prayers. The world we envision, the world we help to create, will be the world we live in.
