Yesterday my three children lost their father: Anthony P. Rodriguez, Jr. (U.S. Army) after a twenty-one month battle with pancreatic cancer.
I am more than aware of how many of our Veterans, especially those of Viet Nam suffer from this wretched, and at the moment, incurable cancer. We must demand in depth research, not only for pancreatic cancer, but for all forms of cancer.
As to this passing, I invite you to join my son, Paul M. Rodriguez at The Ruricolist. for his Eulogy for his Dad.
Tony, go with God and find peace.
Dear Remy, Tony. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Tony was in very good, loving and tender hands in his days of battle. He now beholds the face of God, our Lord Jesus and,I am sure, he is speaking kindly of you and your family. He has rest now. A great comfort. May God be with you both now, and your family, and comfort you in a special way to give you peace, rest and everlasting joyful memories only. Your friends, Lonnie and Carmen Story.

Rhea and Jordan Devereaux had it all: undying devotion, a tender love, and a grand passion. And then the Vietnam War separated them. Follow the course of their love across time and space. Journey with them through the steaming jungle; dance with the Mardi Gras revelers while revolution unseats Louis XVI and protestors on the Washington Mall scream, Hell, NO. We won't Go. Sail with Laffite's pirates into Devil's Isle and rejoice as an unconditional and timeless love emerges victorious.
