What remains to be seen is how the banks and corporations which are being bailed out with our money will change, or be forced to change. It is wrong for banks and credit card companies to charge people high interest when we are feeding money into their concerns. All would do better to lower the rates, pay off the debts, and thus function better financially.
This is an area where both the President and the Congress must stand up and pass legislation that outlaws usury.
