Losing Wetlands

As we here well know from Katrina, the loss of wetlands is catastrophic on many levels. With National Guard troops being sent out of the country, they can not be there in their own states when needed. Bring the Guard Home! It's the Law.

Having mercenaries patrol the streets of our cities as New Orleans did is not a comfortable situation. Where is the place for mercenary troops in a democracy, no matter how many times they change their names? There is something out of kilter with those who are horrified by an armed citizenry, but have no problem with mercenaries on city streets.
