Guthrie Foundation

A place for " spiritual service, as well as cultural and educational exchange " founded by Arlo Guthrie. It is an interfaith meeting center in Housatonic, Massachusetts.

Arlo looked into his heritage, looked into spiritual paths, and brought this all together.

An article from Body&Soul Magazine, May/June 2002 quotes him as saying:
I love truth-I love the trail of it, whether it's something deep within or something external; whether it's in words, ideas, art or dance."

You will find Body&Soul at:Body & Soul.

The Guthrie Foundation message is well worth being aware of, so do visit with them at: Guthrie Foundation.

For those of you too young to remember Arlo's "Alice's Restaurant" do check into the 1967 song at:Alice's Restaurant. Love it or loathe it, it is part of our history.
