Chambliss v Martin

In the 2002 campaign Chambliss questioned the patriotism of his opponent, Max Cleland who left three of his limbs in Vietnam. At the time, Senator McCain decried this dirty politics—now he is on his way to Georgia to support Chambliss in his race against Martin. I wonder why. John Nichols at The Nation wonders why.
