Constitution Day

It is good to see someone stand up for the Constitution of these United States. With the blatant usurpations of power that we have witnessed over the last several years, perhaps some of us need to be reminded that the Founders of this country sought to protect our rights—all of them, including the Balance of Power that makes the system work. But remember, it is not only the Balance of Power that is important—it is important that the voice of We the People is heard to protect the very life line of who we are, and of who we can ever hope to be. If you haven't read your Constitution lately, perhaps it is time for a refresher course. Constitution of the United States of America. Please note it does not say red states and blue states, it says United States.

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
