Casualties in war are not just numbers. They are individual people with hopes, dreams, talents, loves that will never be realized. This Memorial was started by the parents of a soldier killed in Vietnam. It should bring home to you what the cost of a child killed in war means to those left behind. Thanks to Michael Orban. for bringing this to my attention. You won't want to miss his Souled Out: A Memoir of War and Inner Peace. My review will be here soon.

How will you remember your loved ones? Our prayers are with you in your loss.
Please let John Cory help remind you of the loss of a loved one in a very personal way in his short story Clean Up on Aisle 6.
Those who have come home, wounded physically, mentally, and spiritually need your help and they need it now. Please support Veterans' Issues and the Disabled Veterans of America. and Paralyzed American Veterans.
For many soldiers coming home The Military Order of the Purple Heart. has been quite helpful. They too need your help to help our Veterans. Be there for them as they have been there for you. Your position on this war does not matter - they matter - they are U.S. - our national family. Would you leave a family member out in the cold? Tell your Congress, tell your President that our Veterans must have everything they need - now.

Rhea and Jordan Devereaux had it all: undying devotion, a tender love, and a grand passion. And then the Vietnam War separated them. Follow the course of their love across time and space. Journey with them through the steaming jungle; dance with the Mardi Gras revelers while revolution unseats Louis XVI and protestors on the Washington Mall scream, Hell, NO. We won't Go. Sail with Laffite's pirates into Devil's Isle and rejoice as an unconditional and timeless love emerges victorious.
