New Generation of Homeless Vets

By Remy Benoit

From the AP and Erin McClam at New Generation of Homeless Vets Emerges.

What is wrong with us that we don't see this, do something about this?

What will it take to open our eyes to the fact that war changes people, increases their need for assistance, support, and our being there for them?

They shouldered their responsibility.

Why do we refuse to shoulder ours to them?

That last question needs a serious answer and a serious and immediate response with action.

Don't forget also Cell phones for soldiers. There is a place for that cell phone you don't use anymore - in the hands of one of our soldiers to call home.

From the great state of Montana, where my Granny was born, at Veterans for Common Sense from the Montana News Station Senator Tester and Senator Baucus Call for Investigation of VA Mental Health Care.
