9 U.S. Soldiers KIA in Offensive

By Remy Benoit

From the AP at MSNBC 9 U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq offensive
Joint operation with Iraqi troops targets al-Qaida in Iraq, other extremists.

From the AP at MSNBC Study: 151,000 Iraqis died in conflict’s violence Surveyors face danger to count casualties from 2003 to 2006.

And there is no end in sight.

Why are we not hearing more about these wars during the campaigns?

Why is it hard to even find anything about Afghanistan in the news?

Why are we not hearing about exit strategies?

Why are we not hearing about how our Veterans will be cared for during this presidential campaign?

Why are we not hearing more about critical issues like TBI and PTSD?

We are not hearing answers to these questions because these questions are not being asked. Enough with "pundits" interpreting every nuance of body language. Ask the questions - demand answers - you have the power of the vote - use it. Call in, write in to news bureaus and tell them you do not want infotainment elections - you want real questions being asked - and answered. It is our right, and more importantly, it is our responsibility, not only to the country, but to those we have put on the front lines.
