The post-Katrina handling of this disaster is a national disgrace. No one accepts culpability for the oh so slow implementation of anything. It is horrid enough to lose everything - to still be a first base in recovery at this point is simply unacceptable in this country. Again, I remind you, if your roads, your levees, your dams, your bridges need work, do not let your local authorities put you off on repairs until disaster occurs and your National Guard is not at home to assist you in a crisis.
