Something to Think About and Perhaps Share

By Remy Benoit

What is it that you know you could share with, give to the world, that would help to solve its problems?

I would very much like to read your responses and post them if you wish.

I recommend that all the candidates read The Art of Power by Thich Nhat Hanh. If leaders worldwide functioned by the principles herein outlined, the world would be a much different place. Power with, rather than power over, could move the world with harmony rather than discordance.

If you do not know this author, his life story should empower and motivate you About Thich Nhat Hanh Parallax Press.

I also recommend Wayne W. Dyer's newest book Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao. Wouldn't it be good if West could meet East in open sharing rather than on blooded battlefields?

I would also like to direct your attention to P.M. Rodriguez' essay on philosophy at The Ruricolist.

From Mario Cuomo at the Los Angeles Times What the Constitution says about Iraq Congress and the courts must recommit to the legislative branch's sole authority to declare war.

From Andy Stern at The Huffington Post Restoring the Promise of the American Dream.

Write yourself home - write a solution to our country's problems. I can help you Gentle Editing.
