New Orleans Needs You

By Remy Benoit

The Crescent City, the Big Easy, our beloved N'Awlins is one water pump away from not having a viable water system. There were 4 pumps, 2 are down - the system is antiquated and cannot handle the water pressure of "modern equipment" and there are "disagreements" between the New Orleans Water Board and FEMA - the answer - hire a consultant for several million dollars to "analyze the system."

It is 19 months since Katrina - where is Congress, where are the promises made by the President?

This is a major American port city - stand by us - raise some hell and help us - who knows where the next natural disaster will go - maybe your hometown?

We are the most powerful nation in the world - why can't we help our own?
