Washington State's Living Treasure

By Remy Benoit

The work of this incredible woman, Vi Hilbert. was brought to my attention by Jerry Wennstrom, author of The Inspired Heart.

It is good for us to remember that there are many, many ways of life in this great country, and that many people work very hard to preserve them, protect them, and hand them down through the generations. Those who do this, are, indeed, National Living Treasures.

If you know someone who does something special to help others, do let us know.

This man, Dr. Edward Tick, author of War and the Soul. offers help and sanctuary to those who protect our ways of life. Do visit with him too.

For a lovely look inside life here in Louisiana, visit with me with my review, Moment to Moment, at Louisiana in Words.

For my review of The Inspired Heart. - and do visit with Jerry Wennstrom. His art work makes him too a National Treasure! While you are there, do not miss Marilyn Strong's Songs for Sophia. It is a truly beautiful CD and will introduce those of you who are unfamiliar with chanting to something quite amazing.
