The Personal Side of War

  War is much more than just a break down in communications.  It is human interactions in oh so many ways.

  There are the terrible, deadly moments on the field of battle, and there are the awesome moments of human touching.

  
   From CNN there comes to us the story of a pregnant Iraqi woman and the hero who came to her aid from the Army Physical Training Corps, 2nd Royal Tank Regiment.

   On his own son's first birthday back in Birmingham, Sgt. Gary Hughes took up a Muslim woman in his arms and rushed her to the hospital where her son was born safely. Little Yussuf Gary and mother are doing well.
