Rumsfeld; 'a new type of fascism'

By Remy Benoit

From the AP and MSNBC Rumsfeld: War critics have ‘moral ... confusion’.

It is a wide leap in logic to assume that because people do not agree with you, with your policies, with your statements, that they are morally confused. Freedom of expression is a basic right according to our Constitution and our heritage. Well supplied troops is an assumption that the general public has made that was incorrect. Perhaps in sending troops to fight inadequately prepared we might find some moral confusion at work.

Also in the news, from The Washington Post, Peter Baker and MSNBC Bush priorities clash with Kazakh’s visit
Autocrat Nazarbayev leads oil-rich country.

And from Ireland Online White House rejects Bush-Admadinejad debate idea.
