A Holiday Message

By Remy Benoit

It is spring, things are growing.

May we grow with them into all we can be.

Here is a thought for today.

When a man first wanted to publish his book, one publisher rejecting it commented 'who would want to read about a big whale?'

He persisted.

We call him Herman Melville.

If we keep our dreams small, they will get small results.

If we dream of a better world, we begin to create it.

From Herman Melville:

We cannot live only for ourselves.

A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men;

and among those fibers, as sympathetic threads,

our actions run as causes, and they come back to us as effects.
