From CNN and Arwa Damon Marines find insurgency's deadly tools in Haditha.

From the AP and CNN 'There's no one left to look for them'.

From MSNBC and Bob Sullivan Next storm for Katrina victims: Bad credit score. One thing the companies have to realize is that even those of us who are still at home are still not getting proper mail delivery. There was NO mail for almost two weeks. Letters are late, often weeks; packages that have been out there for weeks and weeks are still "out there somewhere"; much mail, like bills, is lost. This is the time to pull together and I do extend our appreciation to those companies who are not charging interest, and who are declaring temporary "payment holidays' until December. Hopefully, by then, things will begin to come together. And no, many cannot call in payments as they do not have phones yet.

From MSNBC High security as New Yorkers head to work.

From Common Dreams, the Seattle Times, and Nina Evers A Nation Buffeted by Loss Seeks to Find its Voice.
