Rita

By Remy Benoit

From MSNBC Hurricane Rita spins toward Texas, Gulf Coast More than 1.3 million people flee Category 5, 175-mph monster.

Hurricane force winds extend about 75 miles in each direction from the eye. Tropical storm winds can be felt up to about 185 miles from the eye. The northeast quadrant of the storm is very dangerous. Tidal surges expected. This is a very serious storm. Do not take it lightly. Do what you need to do. Take cash with you. In storms like this, power goes out, plastic does not work.

Our prayers are with you.
