Katrina

By Remy Benoit

From CNN Coastal residents flee deadly storm.

It is not known yet exactly where Katrina is going.

Wherever it goes, the storm is dangerous. There will be tidal flooding which means the shoreline, the bayous, and the rivers. If you are going to evacuate, be mindful of flashflooding.

Observe the Contraflow procedures here in Louisiana, and do secure your pets.

Some parishes have ordered mandatory evacuation.
Listen to the local reporting for evacuation, traffic, shelters, etc.

Be safe,
