Empty Places at the Thanksgiving Table

Thanksgiving comes this week.

There will be many places at many tables across the country where the seat will not be filled.

To those of you in active service, our prayers are with you. Be true to yourselves, be safe.

To those of you injured, again, our prayers are with you. Maintain your courage, welcome home, and thank you for your service.

To those of you at home send Books for

Some will not be coming home at all. To them we give the thanks of a nation for their service. To their families, we share your grief.

Whatever your position on this war, BE THERE for those who serve. It is the decent thing to do; it is the only thing that is fitting.
