High Holy Day

By Remy Benoit

The Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur.

To understand what this holy day is about, to learn its history, Yom Kippur.

And while you are learning, it would be good to learn what these words mean too:

Tikkun Olam.

The world needs a whole lot of healing.

The Haitians need help; there are many here in Louisiana who need help, as they do in Florida.
Our troops need our support; the Iraqis need resolution, as do the Afghans.

The list could go on all night.

The list can be handled and resolution found by each one of us doing our best to find that resolution.

Blessings,
Remy
